Art Night

Last night, Chloe's school hosted Art Night. It is essentially a display of all of the artwork that the kids have created during the school year, in there art classes. This was my first one, and I was overwhelmed by how amazingly beautiful it was. It pretty much brought me to tears when I arrived at the school in the afternoon to pick up Chloe. But I am sappy like that... I wish I had pictures that could give you an idea of the whole scale of it, but since I don't, you get to see mostly Chloe's work...yes, I am biased... The school's art teacher worked so hard to get all of this done...she is amazing. This is yet another experience that reminds me of how fortunate we are to be involved in this school...

I love this one...

Her love of Pony's

We love heart's !

Portraits of Morgna

Chloe's Brilliant Kindergarten Teacher
Each classroom created an a rendition of their teacher, on the classroom door..so cool..

Chloe's picture of Miss Morgan

Oh, there is more...

This was one of my Favorite rooms...

The school also auctioned off work made by the students, and in each classroom some sort of hands on art activity was offered. We loved the finger knitting room. Chloe caught on like a pro... Sorry, no pictures of that, we were to busy doing it.

This last picture gives you a little bit of an idea of what it looked like outside the classrooms. It was way cooler than this shot. Each child had their own silhouette on the walls...among all the other art. Wish I knew how to shoot panoramic, it would have looked great... Have to wait till next year for that..

Great pics. I have to admit to being a little too spazzed out by my kids to notice how beautiful it was..thanks for reminding me!!!

How fantastic is Chloe's artwork - amazing for her age. I love that the fabric reminds her of sunshine and funny - just like my Chloe, she loves ponies. It looks like a great school.
